Toure Murry scored 15 points and had seven rebounds to lead Wichita State to a 66-64 victory over Missouri State on Sunday night.

Clevin Hannah also scored 15 points for the Shockers (21-6, 10-5 Missouri Valley), who maintained sole possession of second place in the conference by improving to 15-0 at home.

Kyle Weems led the Bears (17-9, 7-8) with 19 points.

Will Creekmore scored five straight points to give Missouri State a five-point lead with less than 12 minutes to play, but Wichita State came back despite making only six second-half field goals. The Shockers built their lead to six twice in the final minute.

Wichita State was 29 for 39 at the free-throw line while Missouri State was 7 of 14.

Jermaine Mallett hit two 3-pointers in the final 11 seconds, including one at the buzzer, for the Bears.
