Brian Voelkel had a double-double for Vermont, which scored 11 of the last 13 points in a 60-51 win over Binghamton on Sunday.

Voelkel scored 12 points, had 13 rebounds and made two free throws with 54 seconds to cap an 11-0 run by the Catamounts (21-5, 12-2 America East Conference).

Vermont trailed 46-42 with 12:04 remaining and scored seven straight to make it 49-46 on Garrett Kissel's layup with 9:15 left.

The Bearcats (6-19, 3-9) then tied it on Taylor Johnston's 3, before going cold. Binghamton missed its next 12 shots as the Catamounts pulled away on their big run to lead 60-49.

Evan Fjeld and Brendan Bald, who had four points apiece during the spurt, finished with 14 and 12 points, respectively for Vermont, which won its ninth straight.

Greer Wright scored 15 points for Binghamton, which stretched its longest losing streak in 33 years to nine straight.
