Darius Theus scored Virginia Commonwealth's last eight points in regulation, then hit a layup with 15 seconds left in overtime to give the Rams a 69-68 win over William & Mary on Thursday night.

Sophomore Juvonte Reddic scored a career-high 28 points and also had six rebounds and six steals for VCU (14-5, 5-2 Colonial Athletic Association), which has won three straight.

The Rams won despite shooting only 34.4 percent from the field (22 of 64) and a woeful 9.1 percent from beyond the arc, making only 2 of 22 3-pointers.

Reddic scored all of VCU's points in an 11-2 opening run. The Rams led 34-26 at the break, but the Tribe (4-15, 2-5) finally knotted it at 45 and pulled ahead at 53-52. Theus took it from there for VCU, his free throw tying it at 60 to force overtime.
