Bradford Burgess scored 18 points and Juvonte Reddic added 11 points and nine rebounds to lead Virginia Commonwealth past Delaware 68-55 on Saturday.
The win marks VCU's 11th win in the past 13 contests and 10th double-digit win of the season.
The Rams (13-5, 4-2 Colonial Athletic Association) opened the game on an 8-0 run and extended that lead to 11, 30-19, with 3 minutes left in the first half. VCU led by as many as 17 points, 67-50, with 51 seconds left to play.
VCU held Delaware (7-9, 3-3) to 31 percent (18 of 58) shooting from the field and forced the Blue Hens to commit 11 turnovers. The Rams scored 14 points off those errors.
Josh Brinkley led the Blue Hens with 13 and 11 rebounds while Jamelle Hagins and Devon Saddler scored 10 apiece. Hagins also had 14 rebounds in the loss.
