SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah State center Jarred Shaw has been sentenced to 10 days in jail after pleading guilty earlier this year to possession of a controlled substance.

The Herald Journal of Logan reports that Shaw appeared in a Logan court Monday alongside assistant coach Tarvish Felton.

Shaw, who led the 18-14 Aggies in scoring and rebounding, is a senior who played his last collegiate game last week.

Shaw was temporarily suspended following a Dec. 28 arrest when police found him with more marijuana than normal for personal use.

Shaw started his collegiate career at Oklahoma State before transferring to Utah State.
