Trevis Simpson's dunk with 1 second left lifted UNC Greensboro to a wild 67-66 win over The Citadel on Saturday night, notching the Spartans' first two-game winning stretch of the season.

Simpson, who finished with a team-high 19 points, took the dish from Drew Parker and slammed it home in the game's final second for the win. The slam capped a feverish 43 seconds that saw five lead changes between the two teams.

The Spartans (4-14, 2-4 Southern Conference) led by five points, 63-58, with just under two minutes to play, but the Bulldogs fought back. Mike Groselle converted a three-point play to spark a 6-0 run for a 64-63 Bulldogs lead, capping it with a layup with 18 seconds left.

The teams then traded buckets in the final 8 seconds, setting up Simpson's winning dunk.
