Kameron Ritter and Scott Eatherton combined to score 45 points as St. Francis (Pa.) beat Quinnipiac 74-71 on Saturday, snapping a six game losing streak.

Ritter, who finished with 24 points, was 7 of 9 from the field, 3 of 5 from 3-point range and 7 of 11 from the charity stripe. Eatherton had 21 on 9 of 13 shooting.

St. Francis (4-13, 3-3 Northeast Conference) led 63-56 with 6:46 left in the second half before Quinnipiac used an 8-2 run to pull within one, 65-64. However, St. Francis outscored the Red Flash 9-7 over the final 3 minutes to pull away.

The Red Flash shot 53 percent (28 of 53) from the field and 50 percent (6 of 12) from 3-point range.

Quinnipiac (9-8, 2-4) recorded just 13 team assists compared to 21 for St. Francis.

Ike Azotam led the Bobcats with 28 and Dave Johnson added 15.
