Johnny Dee scored 26 points as San Diego defeated Santa Clara 75-62 on Thursday night.
Chris Manresa added 13 points for the Toreros (6-10, 1-3 West Coast). Ken Rancifer had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Christopher Anderson finished with eight assists.
Evan Roquemore had 16 points, Kevin Foster 13, Niyi Harrison 12 and Raymond Cowels III 11 for Santa Clara (8-8, 0-3).
San Diego used an 11-0 run in the early going en route to a 40-28 halftime lead. The Toreros shot 56 percent in the first half (and 49 percent overall) while Santa Clara shot just 28 percent for the game.

San Diego led by as many as 17 in the second half after Dee scored a basket with 14:19 remaining.
