Jared Stohl continued to run up big games against San Francisco, scoring 22 points on six 3-pointers to lead the Pilots to a 70-59 victory over the Dons on Thursday night.

Nemanja Mitrovic came off the bench to score a career-high 20 points, including five 3-pointers, as the Pilots (18-9, 9-4 West Coast Conference) locked up third place in the league standings.

Rashad Green had 16 points to lead the Dons (12-16, 7-6), who entered the game with a chance to steal third place from the Pilots.

Both teams shot better from 3-point range than from normal distance. The Pilots hit 46.2 percent (12 of 26) from long distance as opposed to 46.0 percent (23 of 50). San Francisco was 47.4 percent (9 of 19) from 3-point range and 46.7 percent (21 of 45) overall.

The Dons had 19 turnovers to 16 for Portland.
