North Dakota defeats Northern Arizona 84-68

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) Jamal Webb scored 15 points and North Dakota buried 13 3-pointers to roll over Northern Arizona 84-68 Saturday.

Webb was one of three reserves to hit double figures for North Dakota (8-10, 5-3). Cole Stefan had 13 points and Jaron Nash 12. They combined for eight 3's. Aaron Anderson also had 13 and Ryan Salmonson 10.

Max Jacobsen had 19 for the Lumberjacks (8-11, 5-3) on 8 of 10 shooting. Quinton Upshaw added 13 but only hit 2 of 5 3s after entering the game shooting 63 percent (22-35) behind the arc.

Stefan was the spark in the first half when UND built a 43-36 lead, hitting all of four of his shots, including three 3s.

NAU was within 45-44 early in the first half when Anderson, Huff, Nash and Webb all connected to put North Dakota up 54-44. UND made 8 of 10 free throws in the last 3:56.
