Arizona point guard Lamont ''MoMo'' Jones has decided to transfer, though he's not sure where.

A native of Harlem, N.Y., Jones said he decided to pursue his goals at a school closer to his home so he could be near his family, particularly his grandmother.

The sophomore was up and down in his first season as Arizona's starting point guard, occasionally making poor decisions but also hitting some big shots. He averaged 9.7 points and 2.4 assists while starting 38 games.

Arizona had already lost Pac-10 player of the year Derrick Williams, who declared for the NBA draft, but coach Sean Miller had a strong recruiting class that includes freshmen guards Josiah Turner and Nick Johnson.
