Alan-Michael Thompson scored 14 points and Louisiana-Lafayette handed Arkansas-Little Rock its first conference loss of the season, 68-49 on Thursday night.

J.J. Thomas added 12 points and nine rebounds, and Josh Brown had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Ragin Cajuns (10-10, 4-2 Sun Belt), who shot 47 percent from the field, won the rebounding battle 52-35 and held the Trojans to their worst shooting performance (25.4 percent from the field) of the season.

Arkansas-Little Rock (8-12, 5-1) was also off the mark from beyond the arc, making just 2 of 18 3-point attempts. The Trojans, who had won nine straight Sun Belt games dating back to last year's conference tournament, got 11 points from Chuck Guy and 10 each from Courtney Jackson and Ben Dillard.

All of Thompson's 14 points came in the first half, when the Cajuns shot 56 percent and led 38-22. Little Rock never got closer than 12 points in the second half.
