Hot Green Bay pulls away from Oakland 83-69

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Keifer Sykes scored 27 points and Carrington Love added a career-high 17 as hot-shooting Green Bay cruised past Oakland 83-69 Wednesday for its 11th straight win.

With Love, a sophomore reserve, hitting 5 of 6 shots, including both his 3-pointers, and 5 of 6 free throws, Green Bay (16-3, 6-0) shot 50 percent and was 8 of 15 from behind the arc. The Phoenix, who also got 15 points from Alec Brown, only made 23 of 34 free throws.

Corey Petros paced Oakland (7-14, 2-4) with 19 points and nine rebounds. Kahlil Felder had 14 and Tommie McCune added 13. The Golden Grizzlies made 14 of 18 free throws but fell to 0-11 when their opponent gets to the foul line more times.

Oakland's Travis Bader, who leads the NCAA with 86 3s, was 2 of 11 from long range, making him 7 of 39 in his last four games.
