Georgetown is still in search of its first win of the season, as the team travels to New York City for the 2015 2K Classic this weekend.

However, the Hoyas will go into Friday night's game against Wisconsin shorthanded. Georgetown head coach John Thompson III told reporters that sophomore reserve guard Tre Campbell will not be available due to an undisclosed illness.

"He’s not going to travel with us," Thompson said.

Campbell is averaging 3.0 points and 2.5 assists in 21.5 minutes off the bench. He was unable to play in the second half of Tuesday night's 75-71 loss to Maryland. Freshman Kaleb Johnson was the first off the bench in the second half.

Paul White, another key sophomore for Georgetown, has missed both games so far with a hip injury.

"I hope so," Thompson said when asked if White will make his season debut in the 2K Classic.

Georgetown will face either Duke or VCU on Saturday.
