Derrick Thomas scored 19 points, making 3 of 4 shots from beyond the arc, to lead Drexel to a 79-57 win over UNC Wilmington on Saturday night.

Samme Givens added 15 points and Damion Lee 14 for the Dragons (12-5, 4-2 Colonial Athletic Association), who have won four consecutive games and 10 of 11.

The Seahawks led for most of the first half, but Chris Fouch and Frantz Massenat hit back-to-back 3-pointers to fuel a 10-0 Dragons' run and they never trailed again. Drexel led by 14 points at the break and outscored UNC Wilmington 42-34 in the second half to seal it.

At the charity stripe, Drexel shot 87.5 percent (14 of 16) compared to UNC Wilmington's 55 percent mark (11 of 20).

Keith Rendleman scored 23 points to lead the Seahawks (7-9, 3-3), who have lost consecutive games for the first time since a season-opening five game slide.
