Derrick Rose: DePaul's new arena could 'change some guys' minds about going there'

On Monday, DePaul broke ground on a new arena. The basketball program posted artist renderings of the new facility that have made the rounds on social media over the years.
What can the new arena do for the Blue Demons?
Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose, one of the many blue-chip prospects who left the Windy City for college, told Philip Hersh of the Chicago Tribune last week that it could help recruits stay home.

"With DePaul building the new gym at McCormick, that may change some guys' minds about going there," Rose said. "It's huge for the city."
DePaul expects the new arena at McCormick Place to be ready for the 2017-18 season.
