Coastal Carolina gets 1st win, routs Grace Bible, 104-67

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) Badou Diagne scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Coastal Carolina made its home debut with a 104-67 romp past Grace Bible College on Wednesday night.

After losing both games in Honolulu at the Rainbow Classic, the Chanticleers came home to receive their 2015 Big South Tournament championship rings and win their sixth straight home opener.

Diagne became the 50th player in Big South history to amass 600 career rebounds.

Colton Ray-St. Cyr scored 16 points, Tristan Curtis had 14, and Ron Trapps, Jaylen Shaw and Elijah Wilson each added 13 for the Chanticleers (1-2).

Grace Bible fell behind by 24 in the first half and trailed 54-30 at intermission.

Jared Bradford led the Tigers with 15 points Rod Altidor added another 13.

Coastal Carolina plays at home Saturday against Piedmont International.
