Campbell leads Ohio to 96-75 win over Sam Houston State

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) Antonio Campbell was 3 of 7 from beyond the arc and scored 20 points as Ohio rained 3s to dominate Sam Houston State 96-75 on Monday night.

Kenny Kaminski was perfect from long range, hitting all five attempts for 17 points and Jordan Dartis hit 4 of 9 from distance to also total 17 points. The Bobcats (2-0) made 15 of 27 from beyond the arc, shooting 52.5 percent from the floor.

Campbell also grabbed nine rebounds and had two blocked shots. Gavin Block was 3 of 4 from long range for 11 points.

Ohio jumped out to a 28-11 lead midway in the first half, and was up 45-30 at the break. The Bobcats led throughout.

Dakarai Henderson led Sam Houston State (1-1) with 18 points. Torry Butler added 13 and grabbed 12 rebounds and Aurimas Majauskas had 10 points.
