Troy Brewer scored 19 of his 22 points in the second half to help American University close out a 67-55 victory over Army on Saturday.

Tony Wroblicky added a career-high 12 points to help the Eagles (13-7, 4-1 Patriot League) secure their third straight win and sole possession -- at least temporarily -- of second place in the conference.

Julian Simmons scored 18 points for the Black Knights (9-11, 2-3), who failed to extend their win streak to three and fell to 0-13 all time on the road against American.

Josh Herbeck added 12 points for Army, which hit 10 of 14 3-pointers during the second half after sinking just 1 of 10 from behind the arc in the first.

But as the Black Knights attempted to recover from a 12-point halftime deficit, Brewer matched them shot-for-shot, hitting four of his six 3-pointers during a decisive second-half run.
