Several Alabama basketball players are recovering from injuries and offseason operations.

Alabama coach Anthony Grant says Friday that forward Andrew Steele is being closely monitored after sustaining his fourth concussion in last season's Southeastern Conference tournament.

Steele didn't return during the Crimson Tide's run to the NIT championship game.

Forward Tony Mitchell had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on April 14, and Grant says he should be healthy this summer.

Point guard Trevor Releford had surgery to repair a sports hernia that was diagnosed early in the season. Grant says Releford should be fully recovered and cleared for full workouts by the end of June.

Backup point guard Ben Eblen had a deviated septum fixed in May.
