Abilene Christian overwhelms SW Adventist 124-57

ABILENE, Texas (AP) Julian Edmonson scored a career-high 33 points as Abilene Christian overwhelmed Southwestern Adventist 124-57 Saturday night.

ACU had six players score in double figures as the Wildcats dominated the undermanned Knights throughout. Parker Wentz had 24 points, Rafael Farley added 15, Austin Cooke and Jacob Lancaster had 13 apiece and James Pegues had 11 for ACU (11-17).

The Wildcats set a school record for 3-pointers in a game, making 21 of 34 attempts. They have now hit 238 3-pointers for the season, leaving them just four short of breaking the single-season record of 241 sent in 2005-06. ACU made 49 of 79 field goal attempts.

ACU held a 68-21 advantage at the half and coasted on to the victory.

Terry Eichelberg led the Knights with 22 points, JaColby Hardin-Crawford added 21 and Kevin Squarzon had 14.
