ImpactThe Brazilian saw another exquisite performance in the UCL Tuesday, as he registered not one but two assists after finding Rodrygo in the 14th minute and Federico Valverde in the 79th minute for the club's second and third goals of the match. This gave Vinicius his third and fourth assist in UCL play, now having seven goal contributions in the competition this campaign. He also saw a great display outside of his goals, registering two tackles won, three shots, three crosses and four chances created in his 86 minutes of play.

ImpactRodrygo continues to be a thorn in Manchester City's side, as after scoring two goals in the 2021/22 UCL semifinals second leg that saw Madrid pull an unbelievable comeback to send City home, he has now put on another great performance against the Cityzens, scoring a goal in the 14th minute to give Real an early 2-1 lead. This gave the attacker his fourth goal in the UCL this season, now having six goal contributions. Although he only registered two shots and one chance created outside of his goal, he should still be a player to keep an eye on in the second leg, as he is always a dangerous threat just one move away from a goal contribution when facing City.

ImpactValverde scored one of the most beautiful goals of the season Tuesday, as he hit a top-notch volley that found the bottom left corner of the net off of a Vinicius Junior assist in the 79th minute. This was only Valverde's first goal contribution in the UCL this season, now having nine between La Liga and UCL play. He also had a pretty solid match outside of his goal, registering one cross, a chance created, two tackles won and three shots.

Andriy Lunin - Allows three against CityLunin recorded three saves and allowed three goals in Tuesday's 3-3 draw against Manchester City.

ImpactLunin's performance did not look good on paper, as he only made three saves while allowing three goals, but it was not entirely on the keeper, as he faced three shots that 99 percent of keepers wouldn't have saved, which resulted in goals. He will now hope to come into better fortune next match and possibly pick up his 10th clean sheet of the season in league play when facing Mallorca on Saturday.

Ruben Dias - Bags unfortunate own goalDias registered an own goal, two tackles (two won) and one clearance in Tuesday's 3-3 draw against Real Madrid.

ImpactDias witnessed a brief period of bad luck Wednesday, as he was marked for an own goal after Eduardo Camavinga's shot hit off of the defender and redirected into the goal in the 12th minute. However, it would be harsh to call this goal Dias' fault, as it was more of a wrong play right time situation, with the defender left with little he could do once the ball was hit. At least he did recover a little bit later on in the match, with his two tackles won and a clearance in his 90 minutes of play.

John Stones - Registers assist against MadridStones assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Tuesday's 3-3 draw against Real Madrid.

ImpactStones saw a pretty good showing in his 90 minutes of play Wednesday, as he found Phil Foden in the 66th minute for the club's second goal of the match. This gave Stones his first goal contribution in UCl play this season and his first assist on the campaign. He was kept relatively quiet outside of his goal despite running the whole pitch through the entirety of the match, notching one chance created, a tackle, an interception and two clearances.
