Impact For the first time in Florida International's 2024 season, Burris did not play during an FIU game. This is in spite of the fact that he has logged at least one reception every other game this year. Burris will sit out FIU games until further notice.

Donovan Faupel - Records carry Faupel (undisclosed) logged one carry for 18 yards during New Mexico State's 34-13 loss Tuesday at Florida International.

Impact Faupel's carry is his first as an FBS player. The rushing attempt's 18 yards are also his first since 2023, when he logged eight receptions for 98 yards. Faupel's other counting stat for 2024 was a target back in Week 2.

Impact The Aggies have a terrible defense, so accounting for opposition this may not be the best performance of the season for an FBS receiver. In terms of sheer stats, though, Rivers may have just had the game of the year for a receiver, and he came into this game with five games with over 90 yards and five total touchowns.

Kejon Owens - Rushes for 39 yards Owens ran 13 times for 39 yards against NMSU on Tuesday. He also had one catch for eight yards.

Impact FIU won because the passing game got going, but this was not idea for Owens nevertheless. The Aggies have struggled against the run, so the fact Owens only averaged 3.0 yards per carry is a concern.
