Vaughn Blue - Catches TD Blue only ran for seven yards on two carries, but he had two catches for 69 yards and a touchdown against KSU on Saturday.

Impact With a redshirt freshman making his first start at quarterback, it isn't surprising the one real juice the passing game had came from a running back doing most of the work on a 59-yard score. Blue was stuck behind the remarkable Evan Dickens this season, but Dickens was so good he'll likely have his choice of Power Four programs if so inclined. If Blue sticks it out with the Flames, he could be the lead back in 2026.

Evan Dickens - Heroic effort comes up short Dickens ran 43 times for 267 yards and four touchdowns (and added one catch for 16 yards for the fun of it) against KSU on Saturday.

Impact Dickens did his very best in this game, as he has all season. In three of his last five games he ended up with over 200 rushing yards and multiple touchdowns. The Georgia Tech transfer finished the campaign with over 1,300 yards and 17 total TDs in 11 games. Because of QB play and defensive issues, though, Liberty finished 4-8. Will Dickens head right back into the portal off this remarkable run?

Michael Merdinger - Two TDs in spot start Merdinger went 12-for-21 for 212 yards and one touchdown and ran eight times for 13 yards and a score against KSU on Saturday.

Impact The redshirt freshman had to start because Ethan Vasko missed the game with an injury. With how Vasko has played this season, though, Merdinger was an upgrade if anything. Maybe he will get a crack at being the starter in 2026.

Impact Vasko will miss his second game of the campaign and in his absence, Michael Merdinger will get the start at quarterback. As Liberty isn't bowl eligible, Vasko will finish the season having completed 151 of his 266 pass attempts for 1961 yards, 10 touchdowns and 12 interceptions and carried the ball 100 times for 258 yards and another five touchdowns across 10 games played.

Impact Liberty decided to start working the true freshman Coleman into the lineup down the stretch, mostly in the passing game. That makes sense in terms of seeing what the future might hold. Evan Dickens, Liberty's excellent starting back, is only a redshirt junior, but he will almost assuredly transfer to a bigger program.

Impact This is fluky, as Ryan is a backup tight end. To that end, he has 87 yards total on the season.

Evan Dickens - Huge numbers in defeat Dickens ran 30 times for 228 yards and two touchdowns against La Tech on Saturday.

Impact Dickens did his best to deliver the Flames a win, but his quarterback Ethan Vasko threw four picks and squandered Dickens' performance. The running back got himself over 1,000 yards on the season, though, which is good, given that the Flames won't be bowling after this loss.

Ethan Vasko - Drives Flames into the ditch Vasko went 8-for-21 for 141 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions against La Tech on Saturday. He also ran eight times for 28 yards.

Impact Quietly, Vasko has been one of the biggest misfires among transfer quarterbacks. This game went into overtime, which is remarkable given how bad Vasko was. It's fair, and accurate, to say the quarterback cost Liberty the win, and not for the first time. It would be wise for the Flames to start somebody else next week to start planning for the future.

Impact A touchdown is nice, and the 36-yard reception makes up two-thirds of his receiving numbers on the campaign. There's a reason why the only game he's had more than five carries in was the one game Evan Dickens missed, though.

Evan Dickens - Rushes for TD Dickens ran 28 times for 106 yards and a touchdown against FIU on Saturday.

Impact That's three games in a row with over 100 yards for Dickens, and four in a row with at least one rushing touchdown. The Flames will probably miss a bowl, though Dickens is not to blame. He'll likely still finish with over 1,000 yards rushing and double-digit touchdowns.

Ethan Vasko - Struggles through another loss Vasko went 17-for-31 for 218 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions against FIU on Saturday. He also ran for 11 yards.

Impact The change in fortune for the Flames this season is easy to diagnosis. They went from a quarterback in Kaidon Salter who was a driving force to a quarterback in Vasko who is usually an obstacle. Excluding beating up on Maine in the opener, Vasko has thrown for six touchdowns against eight picks, and he's rushed for four scores against three lost fumbles.

Impact Lee was a late addition to the injury report, and the questionable tag suggests the star wideout will be a game-time call. A final decision on his status should be made closer to the 5 p.m. ET kickoff. Not having Lee would be a huge blow for Liberty's passing game, as he's tallied 26 catches for 493 yards and four scores in 2025.

Caden Williams - Good to go vs. FIU Williams (undisclosed) isn't listed on Liberty's injury report ahead of Week 12 against FIU.

Impact Williams has been a rotational pice of the Flames' backfield this season with 57 carries for 250 yards. He won't miss the FIU game after he was questionable in the lead-up to Saturday, which is good news for Liberty's backfield.
