Zach Evans - Hurt in winEvans (undisclosed) had 10 carries for 44 yards in Saturday's win over Iowa before leaving with an injury, Randy Johnson of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
ImpactEvans, a redshirt freshman, had worked his way into the Golden Gophers' running-back rotation, tallying 37 carries for 174 yards and a score in his last three games. Darius Taylor should continue to see the majority of reps as Minnesota's lead back, though Sean Tyler could work his way back into the picture if Evans is forced to miss additional time.
