Eli Finley - Tallies 58 yards Finley caught five passes for 58 yards against Liberty on Saturday.
Impact Trey Kukuk started at quarterback, and he's a runner first and foremost. He only completed 13 passes in this game. However, when you aren't comfortable throwing the ball, you can rely on outlet passes to running backs and hitting your big tight end who isn't running deep routes. Finley is the latter.

Clay Thevenin - Totals 68 yards Thevenin ran 10 times for 43 yards and had four catches for 25 yards versus Liberty on Saturday.
Impact Trey Kukuk, a run-first quarterback, started and led the team in carries. Andrew Burnette also had 17 carries himself. Thevenin is perhaps competing with carries, but his five targets indicates that he can still operate as a safety outlet in the passing game.

Andrew Burnette - Rushes for three TDs Burnette ran 17 times for 93 yards and three touchdowns versus Liberty on Saturday. He also threw an interception on a trick play.
Impact Third-string quarterback Trey Kukuk was pressed into starting, and he's a run-first player. That led to the offense being reconfigured for this game, including Burnette getting comfortably his most carries of the season. He did well with them, so maybe we will see more of the same next week.

Trey Kukuk - Big day on the ground Kukuk went 13-for-20 for 118 yards, but also ran 19 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns, Saturday against Liberty.
Impact Kukuk started the year as the third-string quarterback, but was elevated to starter owing to two season-ending injuries ahead of him. Clearly, you can see from these numbers were his strength lies. His job is to throw it reasonably well and then contribute in the running game, so expect to see that next week against Missouri State.

Jaylon Coleman - Catches three passes Coleman ran two times for four yards and had three catches for 38 yards versus La Tech on Saturday.
Impact Liberty decided to start working the true freshman Coleman into the lineup down the stretch, mostly in the passing game. That makes sense in terms of seeing what the future might hold. Evan Dickens, Liberty's excellent starting back, is only a redshirt junior, but he will almost assuredly transfer to a bigger program.

Impact This is fluky, as Ryan is a backup tight end. To that end, he has 87 yards total on the season.
