Impact Goodman joined his head coach in making the move to UTEP from Austin Peay, but he had not done much until this game. There are reasons to take things here with grains of salt. One, he caught all 12 of his targets. Two, this game went into double overtime. Three, Kam Thomas (undisclosed) missed this game.

Impact After a couple poor games, Odom bounced back in a major way. There is a clear thing to point to here, and that's the return of Skyler Locklear under center. However, UTEP's next game is a visit to Tennessee, so be mindful of that.

Impact The final numbers were sufficient for fantasy-related concerns, but 2.6 yards per carry is not good. While Jackson has become the clear number-one back for the Miners, his next game is against Tennessee, so he's probably out of luck there.

Impact Locklear missed UTEP's last game with a concussion, but he returned in style. Now, this game did go into double overtime, but this is the former APSU player's first game with multiple passing touchdowns, and he was clearly efficient.
