Billy Lucas - Sees limited touches Lucas ran seven times for 39 yards against FIU on Tuesday.

Impact Lucas is a good back, and on the season he has averaged 4.7 yards per carry and scored three touchdowns. The issue for him is that he shares a backfield with Quinton Cooley, who is one of the best backs in the Group of Five. That means Lucas' touches are going to be capped at a certain level as long as Cooley is healthy.

Quinton Cooley - Makes up for lost game Cooley ran 29 times for 174 yards and two touchdowns against FIU on Tuesday, though he did lose a fumble.

Impact Liberty's game against Appalachian State was canceled, so Cooley went ahead and had two games worth of production in one. In four out of five games this season the Wake Forest transfer has had over 100 yards and a touchdown.

Kaidon Salter - Rushes for two TDs Salter went 9-for-16 for 125 yards against FIU on Tuesday. He also ran 12 times for 60 yards and two scores.

Impact Those rushing numbers are quite good, though all in all Salter has not kept pace with what he did in 2023. Last year, Salter was a star with over 2,800 passing yards and over 1,000 rushing yards. This season, though five games he has 1,074 passing yards and a mere 191 rushing yards.

Dean Patterson - Nets 90 yards Patterson had six catches for 90 yards Tuesday against Liberty.

Impact This is the most yards Patterson has had in a game this season, but his role has been consistent. The redshirt junior has at least five catches in five out of six games this year.

Eric Rivers - Nets 95 yards Rivers caught five passes for 95 yards versus Liberty on Tuesday.

Impact Granted, those five catches came on 10 targets, but on the other hand it stands out that Rivers was targeted 10 times. More pressing for fantasy purposes, in each of his last four games Rivers has had at least four catches and at least 95 yards.

Kejon Owens - Rushes for TD Owens ran 15 times for 52 yards and a touchdown and had one catch for 10 yards versus Liberty on Tuesday.

Impact The touchdown is solid, and the 16 touches is a nice indicator. Owens seems to have taken the role as the top back for the Panthers. He'll face an easy schedule going forward, so Owens has potential here.

Keyone Jenkins - Tough day against Liberty Jenkins went 19-for-29 for 245 yards and an interception against Liberty on Tuesday. He ran for 11 yards and a touchdown, but also lost a fumble.

Impact Jenkins has improved in his sophomore season, but one thing remains a concern, and that's turnovers. Or, rather, the potential for turnovers. In addition to five picks and two lost fumbles, Jenkins has fumbled four other times that didn't result in a turnover.
