Georgia opened the game with an 18-0 run before Christy Hewatt of Cumming, Ga., finally scored for College of Charleston, hitting a 3-pointer with 10:45 to go in the first half. The Cougars missed their first five field-goal attempts, their first four free throws and turned the ball over seven times before scoring. Georgia’s biggest lead of the first half came when Miller’s 3 with 5:59 remaining made it 38-7. The Lady Dogs led 44-22 at halftime. James had a breakaway layup to give Georgia its largest cushion of the game, 67-35.
