Martina Hingis’ estranged husband, who made headlines by accusing the tennis star of being a serial cheater earlier this year, now claims Hingis and her mother beat him up.
Thibault Hutin, a 26-year-old French equestrian, told Swiss newspapers he was assaulted at home by Hingis, her mother Melanie Molitor and the mother’s boyfriend. He says he was beaten, scratched and hit in the head with a DVD player, and that he needed the police to get his credit card and passport back.
“They wanted to kill me. I’m shocked! I never thought it would go so far," said Hutin, who says he has moved into a hotel as he awaits a divorce and intends to return to Paris.
