What's it like to call TWO Hail Marys from same team in one season?

La Habra's football team has found its good luck charm in Sam Farber.

Farber, a FOX Sports West and Prep Zone play-by-play man, called both of La Habra's amazing Hail Marys this season, including Friday night's thriller to lift the Highlanders to the CIF-SS Southwest title.

Not many broadcasters can lay the claim to a pair of Hail Mary calls in their careers, let alone, two in a three-month span.

Farber, who's worked for The Beast 980 for over a year, acknowledges he's in some 'statistical anomaly space out there.'

San Clemente took the lead late in the fourth quarter after what Farber said was a 'great come-from-behind effort by them' ... all before La Habra quarterback Eric Barriere (remember him from Week 3?!) found Prince Ross for the 27-yard game winner.

"It was nuts," said Farber of Friday night's fireworks. "That side (La Habra) of the stadium erupted, the other side, for good reason, just collapsed."

Farber, a 2006 graduate of George Washington University, said this kind of drama is what makes sports the best.

"One team keeps playing, the other goes home."
