Former Ducks Pronger, Fedorov elected to Hockey Hall of Fame

Chris Pronger and Sergei Fedorov are headed to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
The former Anaheim Ducks defenseman, who was part of the club's 2007 Stanley Cup championship run, will join Fedorov (who played in 85 games for the Ducks in 2003-06), Bill Hay, Phil Housley, Peter Karmanos Jr., Nicklas Linstrom and Angela Ruggiero as members of the 2015 HOF class, it was announced on Monday.
Along with the Ducks, Pronger, the second overall pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, suited up for the Arizona Coyotes, Hartford Whalers, St. Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers and Philadelphia Flyers.
Pronger tallied 157 goals and 457 assists during his NHL career, including 36/114 during his three seasons in Anaheim.
Fedorov, a center, played the bulk of his career in Detroit, where he won three Stanley Cups, and also laced up for the Capitals and Blue Jackets. Fedorov scored 483 goals and added 696 assists during his lengthy hockey career.

Pronger won the Hart Trophy as the league's most valuable player for the 1999-2000 season and was the first defender to win the award since Bobby Orr (1972).
He was also a two-time Olympic Gold Medal winner in Salt Lake City (2002) and Vancouver (2010) with Team Canada.
