Report: Trent Richardson has 50-50 chance to make Raiders
Want to know what kind of shot Trent Richardson has of making the Raiders' final roster?
Just flip a coin. According to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, Richardson has only "a 50-50 shot" of sticking in Silver and Black.
"The reality is (Richardson) has some very real competition, thanks to some newfound depth on this roster," Rapoport reported. "He needs to do exactly what they ask on the field and off the field just to make this roster. It's possible at this point that Trent Richardson is the odd man out."
That would make Oakland the third team to break some bad news to the former Alabama star. Richardson inked a surprising two-year deal, but with the Raiders' excess cap room, he's far from safe.
He'll have to average more than his underwhelming 3.3 yards per carry to merit a serious look ahead of Roy Helu and Michael Dyer.
