A dominant three-sack performance in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars helped earn Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors once again.

Watt recorded a team-high eight tackles in the Week 17 victory, along with two passes defended, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

This is the sixth time Watt has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week in his five-year career and the second time this season. He was also recognized for his performance in Houston's Week 11 win over the New York Jets.

Sunday marked the 21st multi-sack game of Watt's career and his fifth career game with three or more sacks.

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year finished the regular season with an NFL-high 17.5 sacks. He joins Hall of Famer Reggie White as the only players to record three 15-sack seasons in their first five years in the league.

Watt and the Texans host the Kansas City Chiefs in a playoff matchup on Saturday.
