J.J. Watt: Ben Jones will be a 'Hard Knocks' star

With the announcement that the Houston Texans will be featured in the latest installment of HBO's reality show "Hard Knocks," the early expectation is that the series will turn into another showcase for star defensive end J.J. Watt.

Watt, though, has another name to keep an eye on: Offensive lineman Ben Jones.

“I think Ben’s going to be a big winner,” Watt said, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. “I think there’ll be plenty of storylines following him because of his escapades – some of the things he eats, some of the things he does. Just Ben Jones being Ben Jones, so I think that’ll be great.”

So what does Jones eat? As the Sporting News notes, Jones was once filmed eating a cockroach during his rookie season. There's also this photo of Jones at the University of Georgia, chowing down on a piece of turf after a game.

"He'll eat anything," Jones' college quarterback Aaron Murray told ESPN's Tania Ganguli last year. "If you dare him to eat like a cockroach or a random bug that's in the locker room, he'll pick it up and eat it."

We'll see what Jones has in store for America when the season premieres August 11th.
