Wiggins, Towns lead Timberwolves over Bucks

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Andrew Wiggins scored 24 points and Karl-Anthony Towns had 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 112-108 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night in the exhibition finale for both teams.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 23 points and seven rebounds and Khris Middleton scored 19 points for Milwaukee.

BUCKS: Michael Carter-Williams didn't play and coach Jason Kidd kept most of his players under 25 minutes. Antetokounmpo played 34 because he is suspended for the season opener because of a flagrant foul at the end of last season.

TIMBERWOLVES: Wiggins hit 3 of 4 3-pointers. ... Kevin Martin scored 20 points and Shabazz Muhammad added 19. ... Coach Sam Mitchell said his opening lineup will be Ricky Rubio, Wiggins, Tayshaun Prince, Towns and Kevin Garnett.

UP NEXT: The Bucks open the season at home against New York on Wednesday. The Timberwolves open at the Lakers on Wednesday.
