Kristaps Porzingis is already turning into one of the NBA's more feared shot blockers. Porzingis has already racked up six career games with three or more blocks. Wednesday, he tied his career high, swatting seven shots against the Timberwolves.
Two of those blocks came against leading Rookie of the Year candidate, the one guy ahead of Kristaps, Karl-Anthony Towns. Another couple came against last year's winner of the award, Andrew Wiggins. Take a look at all seven rejections here:
Porzingis is now averaging exactly 2.0 blocks per game on the season, tied for seventh in the NBA with crosstown rival Brook Lopez. He's been on a real binge over his past 13 games, swatting 2.9 shots a night.
