Watch Joel Embiid pull off a perfectly executed Dream Shake

Published Nov. 15, 2016 2:46 p.m. ET

Joel Embiid continues to show Philadelphia 76ers fans that he might really be worth the wait.

Despite playing only 19 minutes Monday -- likely due to a combination of foul trouble and his ongoing minutes restriction -- the former No. 3 pick finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. Impressive production in limited time on the floor, but one of Embiid’s buckets was reminiscent of a Hall of Fame big man’s go-to move.

In the third quarter, Embiid drove left against Jazz big man Jeff Withey, came to an abrupt stop, flashed the ball with his right hand as Withey bit on the ball fake, spun and then hit a baby hook shot.

Somewhere, Rockets legend Hakeem Olajuwon, who used to make his defenders look silly with an endless array of fakes, has to be smiling.
