Watch Al McCoy LIVE in Glendale Tonight

Phoenix Suns broadcaster, Al McCoy, will discuss his upcoming 45th year with the franchise as well a myriad of other topics.

If you are in the Glendale area tonight, Wednesday, August 31, come to Polo’s Italian Cuisine and watch Glendale Vice Mayor Ian Hugh interview Phoenix Suns broadcasting legend Al McCoy LIVE for Vice Mayor Hugh’s Glendale Today television show.

Rarely does an event happen quite like this. Two long-time Glendale residents with very prominent backgrounds and many stories to tell, get together and talk for the public to see.

As Glendale icons, (Ian has lived in Glendale his entire life while Al has lived in the City for over 50 years) they will have a unique perspective on all things history, sports, music, and more.

Aside from his broadcasting duties, Al McCoy is a connoisseur of fine foods as well as a jazz historian and accomplished jazz pianist. These topics among others will be discussed in front of the live studio audience.

Prior to the interview, local jazz pianist and Polo’s regular, Juan Oskar, will play during dinner beginning at 6pm PST. Following the interview, Al will also perform a few prepared tunes.

Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers will also have a special presentation for Al that will be presented during the interview.

Polo’s Italian Cuisine is a local Italian food favorite in downtown Glendale. Owner Polo and staff offer unique Italian meals as well as favorites in a comfortable and quiet environment.
