Washington Wizards' guard to have season-ending surgery
The Washington Wizards are banged up. Bradley Beal has missed a couple games, Jared Dudley is still feeling his way into the action and Alan Anderson has yet to play a minute.
And then there's Martell Webster, the injury-prone wing who's yet to suit up this season after playing only 352 minutes all of last year. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like he'll contribute in 2016, either.
Here's CSNMid-Atlantic with more:
Webster could be a nice fit with Washington's uptempo offense, and his three-point shooting will definitely be missed.

Martell Webster has tried to gut out the pain in his right hip, which has a tear in the connective tissue because of a bone chip, but he will have surgery on it Friday, CSNmidatlantic.com has confirmed, which will end his season without ever starting. As a result, the Wizards will file for a Disabled Player Exception with the NBA which gives them the option of acquiring a 15th player at half of his $5.5 million salary slot. They also can acquire a player via trade but he’d have to be in the final year of his contract.
