Welcome to Views from OKC! Glad to have you hear, and I hope you’ll make this a daily destination. Well, let’s get started!

Question-and-Answer with Enes Kanter
“EK: I wouldn’t play any sport. I would be an astronaut. It’s a little weird. I still want to go to space. I was interested in space because it’s amazing. I was going to try to be an astronaut. I was just watching something on space while I was getting treatment, so it was actually really interesting to me always. But I got too tall and so I became a basketball player.”
Kanter easily has the best personality in the NBA, and this interview is further proof of that. But Thunderous Intentions (shameless plus) already new that.
Thunder vs. Suns Preview
“This game is a mismatch and I don’t see a way Phoenix can win it. I fully expect the Thunder to roll in this contest in front of their energized home crowd. Russell Westbrook is going to play this entire season with a chip on his shoulder and although he won’t score 30+ every night, he will do so tonight. I’m looking for the Thunder bigs to continue their dominant play as Tyson Chandler and Jared Dudley will have their hands full tonight for the Suns.”

Sometimes life gets in the way (I thought Fridays were supposed to be easy) and you can’t get out a game preview.

That’s okay though, because the beautiful people of Real Sports have us covered. I agree, with what they said though; Phoenix isn’t going to have an answer for the OKC bigs, and Steven Adams is going to have a big game tonight.
Domantas Sabonis makes history
“Carrying over from preseason, rookie forward Domantas Sabonis retained his starting position for the Thunder against the 76ers. Sabonis, 20, became the first rookie to start a regular-season opener for the Thunder in franchise history. Kevin Durant started for Seattle as a rookie in 2007.”
Russell Westbrook couldn’t do it. James Harden couldn’t do it. Serge Ibaka couldn’t do it. I think this bodes well for the potential of the OKC rookie.
