These are the uniforms Pelicans will wear if they play on Christmas Day
An early version of the NBA's schedule for the 2015-16 season has been making the rounds, and it has the Pelicans slated to face the Miami Heat on Christmas Day.
While that matchup is far from finalized, if New Orleans does become a part of the league's marquee lineup of games, here's a look at the uniforms they'll be wearing, via Paul Lukas of Uni Watch.
The league has had specialized uniforms for the teams playing on Christmas Day for a few years now. It's the unofficial start of the season for the more casual segment of fans, and the best opportunity to showcase unique jerseys that may fare well from a merchandising standpoint.
There aren't any sleeves on this year's editions, which should make a vocal (but minor) share of the league's fans very happy. As a reminder, if sleeved jerseys were indeed as terrible as many continued to proclaim, then the sales numbers wouldn't have encouraged the league to continue to go with that style.
