Steph Curry calls dunking his 'forbidden fruit'

The Boston Globe's Gary Washburn published a story Thursday morning featuring some priceless tidbits about Steph Curry and his pursuit of the dunk.

As Curry puts it, the act of rising and putting a basketball through the rim has been his personal struggle and/or white whale since his high school days.

Curry has lusted after the dunk ever since.

"I always wanted to dunk," Curry said. "It was like the forbidden fruit, but shooting was my go-to."

Now, dunking isn't entirely forbidden to Curry. As Washburn notes, he's dunked 21 times over the course of his seven-year NBA career. That's three slams a season, on average (thanks, math!).

Curry's latest dunk came Tuesday in the form of an unexpectedly well-executed and wrathful yam in transition against the Wizards.

This is, arguably, Curry's most impressive dunk to date. And in the spirit of celebrating his tenuous triumph over gravity, I've compiled Curry's top five most...on-brand dunks:

JK, Steph. I can barely dunk a tennis ball. You are a monster.

Dan is on Twitter. At the height of his athleticism, he could dunk a volleyball. Womp womp.
