Days after saying he would play his healthy players in the final two games against the Warriors, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich told reporters that Tim Duncan and Boris Diaw will sit Sunday with Golden State on the verge of 72 wins.

The Warriors beat the Spurs on Thursday and are now just one win shy of tying the 1995-96 Bulls' regular-season record of 72 wins. The Spurs also are trying to protect their perfect mark at home, sitting at 39-0 at home. San Antonio is trying to be the first team to complete a perfect regular-season run at home.
