Spurs must dominate paint in Game 2

If the San Antonio Spurs want to even up their series against the Los Angeles Clippers tonight, one thing they absolutely must do is control the inside battle.
Here's more information courtesy of the Washington Post's Fancy Stats blog:
"But it starts with shutting down the Clippers’ front court, specifically not letting Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan control the paint. Griffin became the second player to post 26 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, three blocks and three steals in a playoff game since Tim Duncan did it in 2003. Plus, Griffin had nine drives to the basket. The Spurs will need a healthy Tiago Splitter to help keep this from happening in Game 2."
A lot of things went wrong in Game 1 for the Spurs, but most were abnormal. They missed shots they normally make, particularly from the free-throw line. Game 2 is tonight, and it should be a blood bath.
