Spurs' Hammon, Parker lost it when Broncos won Super Bowl 50

The Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50, a result that filled two members of the San Antonio Spurs with pure joy.

Well, mostly one. Tony Parker and Becky Hammon (who was named the Colorado Sportswoman of the Year in 1999 when she led Colorado State to the Sweet Sixteen) could hardly control themselves:

Parker is French and most likely jumped on Denver's bandwagon, but Hammon has been a fan for quite some time, and further proved her undying loyalty on Instagram:

The Panthers were favored by 4.5 points at kickoff, but none of that mattered because Denver's defensive line destroyed Cam Newton just about every time he dropped back to deliver a pass.

The Spurs know something about suffocating defense, though. According to Basketball-Reference, if the season ended today, their unit would rank 20th all-time in defensive rating. Not too shabby, but it won't mean much unless they can slow down the Golden State Warriors.
