Snoop Dogg tweets Lakers pitch to LaMarcus Aldridge: 'Best fans' in L.A.

Chalk this up as just another of the many reasons Los Angeles will always be attractive to free agents in a way that other places just can't emulate.

Pop culture superstar Snoop Dogg is apparently on the recruiting trail for the Los Angeles Lakers, as he let LaMarcus Aldridge know on Twitter that he's rooting for the Portland Trail Blazers big man and free agent to come to the Lakers -- and that he'd be surrounded by the "best fans" if he relocated to Los Angeles.

Fans in Oakland might have a word to say about Snoop Dogg's claim to the best fans, but you can forgive the man for supporting his home fanbase. Right?
