Should Kawhi Leonard guard Blake Griffin?

San Antonio faced a number of different problems in Game 1, but the biggest (literally and figuratively) was Los Angeles Clippers dunk machine Blake Griffin.

The bruising power forward put his aerial skills on full display, jamming on Aron Baynes and having his way with Boris Diaw in the post.

With Tiago Splitter not operating at 100 percent, is there any way the Spurs can slow Griffin down? According to Project Spurs writer Jose Grijalva, maybe they should throw Kawhi Leonard his way.

"Griffin would no longer be a luxury mid-range jump shooter with Leonard on him. Kawhi’s height and wingspan on contests would bother Griffin since he’s likely not to put the ball on the floor with below average ball handling against the NBA’s steals leader (2.3spg in the regular season, 4 in Game 1)."

This strategy makes sense, but it's not a perfect solution. No one player can guard Griffin. It'll take a team-wide effort. Can the Spurs do it?
