San Antonio's offseason is shrouded in mystery, hope

All the Spurs know right now is that Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, Marco Belinelli and several other key players are set to enter free agency on July 1.
That's all they know, for sure. But that doesn't mean we can't speculate on what decisions they'll make. Here are a few things we can theorize, according to the San Antonio Express-News' Dan McCarney:
"The only reason for Duncan to retire is lack of desire. Otherwise, he remains one of the leading two-way players in the NBA, and was the Spurs’ best and most consistent player against the Clippers. Given his skill level and low-impact style, it isn’t unreasonable to think he’s got at least one more quality season in him, and maybe more after that. Ginobili, on the other hand, is hovering around average, and it’s taken everything he has just to maintain that. The Spurs would almost certainly welcome him back, but his utility is in doubt after recording his lowest scoring average (10.5 points per game) and Player Efficiency Rating (16.2) since his rookie season. Then there’s the matter of Danny Green, an unrestricted free agent whose growth, alongside that of Leonard, helped make the Spurs champions once more."
The questions are real and they're very scary for a team that isn't used to transition. Don't be surprised if the Spurs look completely different next season. Likewise, don't be surprised if they roll it back one more time.
