Ronnie Price expected to miss second straight game with toe injury

Ronnie Price has earned an unexpected place in the rotation for the Suns this season, thanks to his effectiveness on both ends of the floor while shooting a career-best 37 percent from three-point distance.
He missed the blowout loss to the Spurs with a toe injury, and it's expected to keep him sidelined for Thursday night's contest against the Thunder, as well.

The Suns are in disarray at the moment, and would appear to have a slim chance in Oklahoma City whether Price played or not. But his veteran presence on the court will be missed nonetheless.
“The way I play and the way I move, I’ve got to be able to feel like I can help my team out,” Price said. “If I can’t push off and be effective defensively with my movement, then I feel like I’m hurting my team. I don’t ever want to hurt my team.”
“It’s just a defensive thing, being able to slide my feet and stay in front of guys,” Price said. “That’s me. I’ve got to be a presence defensively. I’ve got to be able to move and cut and cut guys off and change directions. Having a turf toe-type joint deal puts a lot of pressure on it.”
